    I attended the 137th AOAC Annual Meeting in New Orleans. This is first attendance at AOAC since Covid-19. I attended the 14th SPIFAN meeting to discuss the current developments in methods of analysis for infant formula and reviewing and developing standards for global acceptance.

    Paper accepted for publication entitled "Analysis of Taurine in Infant Formulas and Adult Nutritionals by Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry: First Action 2022.03" to be published in the Journal of AOAC International. This paper describes a single laboratory validation (SLV) of an LC-MS for the quantitation of taurine in infant formula.

    Paper accepted for publication entitled "Enhanced Automated Online Immunoaffinity Liquid Chromatography–Fluorescence Method for the Determination of Aflatoxin M1 in Dairy Products" to be published in the Journal of AOAC International. This paper describes the validation of an LC-Fl for the quantitation of aflatoxin M1 in dairy products.
